Do your shows have closed captions?
Select shows have closed captions indicated by the closed caption logo located in the bottom right corner of the screen.
To enable closed captioning follow the instructions below.
For a computer
- Select a show you want to watch
- Click PLAY
- Hover over the progress bar at the bottom of your screen
- Navigate to the Closed Captioning icon on the progress bar
- Click the CLOSED CAPTIONING button and select ENGLISH to turn on subtitles
- Click the CLOSED CAPTIONING icon again if you want to turn off the subtitles
For iOS Phone or tablet
- Select the show you want to watch
- Tap the screen to play the show
- Click on the CLOSED CAPTIONING button in the top right corner of the screen
- Tap the CLOSED CAPTIONING icon to turn on subtitles
- Tap the CLOSED CAPTIONING icon again if you would like to turn off subtitles
For Apple TV
- Go to SETTINGS on your Apple TV
- Select GENERAL
- Click on ACCESSIBILITY
- Click on SUBTITLES and CAPTIONING
- Choose CLOSED CAPTIONS to activate them on
For Roku
- Press the HOME button on your Roku remote
- Scroll up or down to select SETTINGS
- Select ACCESSIBILITY, if accessibility is not listed, select CAPTIONS
- Select CAPTIONS mode and choose when captions appear
For Amazon Fire TV
- Start playing the video
- Press the MENU button on your FireTV remote
- Select SUBTITLES and AUDIO
- Select the OFF button under subtitles and captions
- Select an available language from the options to turn captions on
